NL Once every 8 weeks, our diesel engineers head out to a unique workplace: Lichteiland Goeree. Our technicians are transported there by helicopter or boat. On site, they carry out maintenance on three generator sets that ensure the platform’s electricity supply.
The Lichteiland is an important sea approach beacon and continuously collects data on wind, air pressure, visibility, and wave conditions. With multiple beacons and a lighthouse lamp positioned 30 meters above sea level, the platform plays a crucial role in maritime navigation.
