Yesterday, the Young KBN event for its members took place at Vink diesel. Our colleague Stenn Hertgers gave a short presentation about our company and how innovation and sustainability have always been part of our DNA. Afterwards, Dies Moree shared his experiences as a young entrepreneur. He is the owner of the “Esto Fidelis”, which is currently moored at our quay for sustainability upgrades. The bow thruster is being replaced with a diesel-electric propulsion system, and the main engine and generator are being replaced with our fuel-efficient DAF Euro VI engines. As a result, the “Esto Fidelis” will soon receive a Green Award. After the presentations, there was an engaging discussion with the young entrepreneurs about different approaches to sustainability.

The KBN members then had the opportunity to visit Dies on board, followed by an enjoyable networking reception. It was a successful day!
